Fly cutting harder metals like stainless steel can be accomplished with the use of carbide tooling. This fly cutter uses an indexable carbide insert to do the cutting. Included is a drawbolt, one carbide insert plus the Torx screw to hold it in the holder and the Torx wrench to attach or remove it. Additional carbide inserts can be purchased as P/N 7622. Designed for use in the Sherline headstock spindle.
