More expensive than Bounty select a size I normally buy select-a-size Bounty (green not yellow) paper towels at Walmart. $8.92 for 6 super rolls - 606 sheets per pack.These GP folded towels are 1440 sheets for $26.99.So, it is $.015 per sheet for Bounty and $.019 per sheet for these GP towels. This, the GP towels are ~ 21% more expensive per sheet. A very interesting find is that the select-a-size Bounty sheets each weigh 3 grams while the GP towels weigh 4-5 grams each (let s say 4.5g). This means that the GP towels weigh roughly 40-50% more than the Bounty towels, but are 21% more expensive.Regardless of how much square footage there is between each of the competing packages, I have to say that a single select-size Bounty sheet performs just as well if not slightly better than these full-sized GP sheets.So, I have little reason to repurchase these GP towels since I am also now losing my campfire starter containers (the paper towel roll)! :DOverall, these are great towels for industrial use multi-fold, but are more expensive than buying Bounty for household use. They make nice guest paper towels in a bathroom. I prefer these over the ridiculously plush and overly soft guest towels some restaurants and people use, as I think these are faster-absorbing and less wasteful/overboard.UPDATE:To add to the information, the following water-holding comparison might help.Bounty select-a-size = roughly 37 grams of water held by each sheetGP sheet = roughly 23 grams of water held by each sheetSo, the cheaper, lighter Bounty towels hold roughy 60% more water per sheet than the GP towels. 3a good value, nice for a range of purposes. (for any familiar: Very different from Scotts Rags in a Box paper towels) I intend to take some photos and do a more in depth comparison, but here is a start.for what it is meant to be it is nice.It does not replace my more expensive favorite Scott Rags in a Box (actually paper towels)- soft enough to use on ones face. its not silk, but it is plenty soft for a paper towel. i am finicky and have sensitive skin and it doesn't annoy me. that says a lot. i'd say at least 99.5% of the pop. would agree with strong confidence.- unlike scott rags in a box, which are notoriously expensive on here when bought as single boxes, and only recently being listed at affordable rates for the pack of 8 boxes, these cannot be used to wax an old car where the paint has been damaged... holds up for wiping, not heavier scrubbing.- C fold is done after sheet was folded in half- the whole box of these is maybe about the size of 2.5 boxes of scott's without measuring.- the paper wraps hold the paper towels i presume in standard refill size, not in compression.- plenty absorbent and soft enough for any office to use. softer than the average public restroom. Not as heavy/thick as the nicest C-fold towels i have seen at a few high end places (i was hoping... but seemed too affordable and that proved predictable)very nice for what they are, but for my home use (kitchen, house, foster dogs, garage, and garden) i will go back to the roll in a box. yeah, its a sizable yellow box, but it can be fit under the kitchen sink or in another cabinet so you dont have to see it, and is now being offered in rolls.) maybe i will try some of the center pull towels that go in a holder, but not sure it is worth the experimenting other than that it would be easier to mount to the inside of the kitchen cabinet and set one up in the garage.To the manufacturer: you really ought have a sampler for order on here. a pair of each type of a certain form (c-fold, z-fold, center pull) so the different textures and compositions can be weighed without a lot of trial and error on full size orders. I may be frugal but quality matters and will adjust my price threshold for products. I dont think this was any more of a deal than the $10 a box of the separate category but competing for my business product. 5Do u have kids or business ?? U need these read to find out why. This might sound crazy but love love love these. Let me tell u why. Ever grab a roll of paper towels ? We always do tons of times some tons in one day. Mom of three here. Well even I as adult always take to many. Forget about how many kids take. They take quarter of the roll for to wipe up a drop of juice. Who are we kidding they probably use them as costumes. They don't clean haha but truth is these avoid the wasted endless money on paper towels. If u put these down tri fold facing folded up guess what only ones comes out at a time. Now yes the plastic dispensers are like twenty bucks. Crazy right. But man I save so much. N the towel lasts so long. It's not super hard nice to use after washing your hands. I haven't bought paper towels in a year. I still have the dumb paper towel holder on the counter w my roll I never use. But I put these in bathrooms to replace the nasty hand towels contaminated w bacteria. I make my cleaning crew use them I use them for cleaning. Love them. Trust me u won't go back to endless huge rolls of paper towels. This is way cheaper more efficient and honestly better than bounty!! I checked even even Kleenex brand makes this style. Little smaller. Not softer and cost more. But I tried them first. They come out in clumps. No way to grab just one. They fall over in accordion style w out dispenser. In my bathroom I haven't caved for dispenser. Haha but honestly I only have the over priced dispenser in down stairs bathroom kitchen and the bathroom. Now I can't believe I wrote this long of review about paper towels. Omg I'm bored I guess (daughter home sick). Anyways u won't regret buying them hope this helped I know other past reviews helped me decide to try them. 5signature is the name for quality! Cutting right to the chase, these are really good quality paper towels.To be clear, even though the picture shows a Z fold, what I received are C fold towels. They are stacked to dispense one at a time and are not folded onto one another which makes it easy to grab just one.I like that these take up much less room on my counter tops. With rolled towels there's no choice, always starting with a big honking roll but with these I can split a pack in three and keep a low profile. I use a vintage sewing drawer on my countertop top hold these - keeps the stack need and adds a nice decorative touch, see photo added.For the number of towels in the box this package is much easier and compact to store than a comparable amount/package of rolled paper towels.*SUPER FAST SHIPPING* from MyOfficeInnovations: I ordered these on the 15th and my shipping notification stated to expect them anywhere from the 22nd-27th. Well, they arrived today - the 18th - that's the first time I've had a non-Prime item arrive *before* the first actual estimated shipping date!These towels are much softer than any of my other budget paper towel purchases. As other reviewers have stated, I takes only one towel to dry your hands. Even though they are a little expensive compared to other C folds I think I'll be using less towels in comparison and hopefully the cost will balance out.Will definitely purchase again. Highly recommended! 5A Promising Relationship that Fell Apart By comparison with other paper towels I ve purchased, these are last on the list. I do like the packaging with regard to the larger box, it comes completely sealed unlike others. The color is rather dingy looking, I would prefer either a brighter white or a natural hue. The main issue here is the towels construction: it desintegrates as soon as it touches water. When drying hands or face, you will have to remove paper particles from your self and pick up any on the floor. I also use these these to clean and they do not hold up. I was initially pleased with the thickness put that was eclipsed by the lack of durability. 3Not Interlocking These paper towels themselves are actually nice and thick. They feel much thicker to me than most other dispenser towels, and in theory one would only need to pull out one towel to dry their hands off. However, the reality is that most people automatically grab 2-3 towels out of the dispenser at a time, and the fact that these towels are not interlocking makes them inconvenient in a public bathroom setting. That being said, I am using the remaining case as paper towel for washing windows and I have to say, they are working fantastic for that! They just are not the ideal dispenser towel. 2People at work are going crazy about these paper towels! Out of the hundreds of purchases I've made on Amazon during the last year, this is the only review I've written. I bought these by accident while trying to purchase another C-Fold BUT everyone at work from the owner down to the newest hire have stopped me to tell me how much they LOVE LOVE LOVE the new paper towels. I agree this sounds ridiculous. Of all the things I do on a daily basis, the one thing I've been recognized for was not only something I consider insignificant but it was also done by accident!I plan on clicking the "Buy it Now" button much more hap-hazardously from now on. Next time you hear from me I will own this joint. 5Not interlocking - this needs to be in big bold letters somewhere. For those of us that don't own or manage a fast food restaurant or office building, it may not be obvious that C-Fold towels are NOT interlocking.If that's what you're after (interlocking means the next towel up is partially dispensed, leaving an easy-to-grab lip), you want MULTI-FOLD or Z-Fold paper towels.Worse, when I tried to return these, I was told I couldn't. I had to call in to Amazon (no way to email them anymore) to get a refund.All in all, a huge pain in the butt. 2Quality towel for cheap towel price! These are somewhat soft, fairly thick, stays in one piece when wet, and can be reused hand towels. I've rinsed and rung one out several times without it falling apart. Unlike bou...you know that name brand one.To the feel, you'd think they were more costly than they are. They kind of have a crisp cotton feel for texture and some softness for touch. They can replace any paper towel. They also absorb well. These towels are not top of the line quest bathroom towels to be used to impress...whomever it is that you have at the top of your desire-to-impress list but they are a quality towel for a cheap towel price. Excellent for home or office. I think you'll be impressed by the quality and quantity when considering the price. 5Great Size fill fit 11" x 4" wall dispenser - Soft thick and worth every penny of price! Hi, received these lovely towels today, they are thick, soft, and will work nicely in my metal wall dispenser. They are the width I was looking for and fit opening on the my metal wall dispenser of 11" wide by 4" deep, perfect fit with a little room on each side, will hold two packages of towels. perfect!I hope this measurement helps because I was looking for a towel that would mention the type and measurement of the opening, didn't see a "recommended dispenser" name or identification on any listings, so I took a chance. These will work and I will be reordering when necessary. Shipped fast, clean box.Suggestion to all, read all the reviews, the good the bad and the ugly before ordering. Then make the leap! 5
