You will not regret buying this - and your hands will thank you
Saw this on America's Test Kitchen tv show (or was it Cook's Country?). Decided to give "natural ingredients" a try and found it to be a superior product. I also found out that the rough skin patches I had on my hands that I thought was a touch of psoriasis was, in reality, an allergic reaction to the dish detergents I had been using. Two weeks of using Mrs. Meyer's and my rough skin is almost gone. Three years of countless lotions and creams and I find out that it was an allergy to the chemicals in commercial dish detergent. ARRGH! I went and bought three more bottle of Mrs. Meyer's - but in lemon. (I'm not too crazy about the bluebell smell - it's way too strong)
5Flower Power Get 'Er Done!
This stuff cleans like a champ! Don't let it's heavenly scent fool you, it cleans better than that competitor whose 4 letter name starts with a D! The Bluebell scent is not an overwhelming flower smell, just a pleasant spring smell. A little of this flower power goes a long way! Besides washing dishes I frequently use as a laundry/ carpet and upholstery stain remover. I have been pleased with every Mrs. Meyer's product I have tried... which is quite a few! This lasts much longer and better than other dish soaps in this price range(and higher!). Don't hesitate no buy this soap. (And no, I'm not sponsored in any way. )
5Too perfumey for dishes
I'm working my way through the Mrs. Meyer's range and so far this one is not my favorite as it is too perfumey to use in the kitchen anywhere near food. Certainly never on cast iron pots and pans. My hack has been to water it down with another scent-free environmental brand till the perfume is so faint that I scarcely notice it. Lasts a lot longer too.
4I really like Mrs. Meyer's liquid dish soap
I really like Mrs. Meyer's liquid dish soap, but the Bluebell fragrance had strong notes of Jasmine, which give me migraines. On the plus side, my husband had full dish duty until the soap was used up... but even he said the fragrance was too strong and not very pleasant after the first few times of using it.
2Smells like spring
I really like Mrs. Meyer's products in general. I took a star away because the dish soap has a tendency to leave a residue, which can transfer a funny taste to whatever you put in the dish/cup after washing. I think I'll stick to Dr. Bronner's from here on.
4Oh yesssss
I won't lie I was kind of skeptical I feel like this soap had a lot of negative views... However I love it it smells fantastic I love the fact that it does not dry my hands out and I have bad eczema I love the fact that it doesn't leave my dishes feeling disgusting I just I am all around in love with it I will definitely buy it again and again and again and again definitely worth every penny oh I just love it you all need to try it!!!!!
5bottle came broken
It cleans like any other dish soap but the smell is much stronger which could either be a positive or negative depending on if you get headaches because of smells I personally like the smell. unfortunately, the bottle broke during shipment so 75 percent of my dish soap is currently sitting in my mailbox.
2TOO PERFUMEY!
Too perfumey and the fragrance is just not pleasant. There was a 2 bottle minimum purchase so I'll use them up but won't re-order. I don't understand all the terrific reviews as this was just an utter disappointment for me. I like the other Mrs. Meyer's liquid dish soaps, but I can't wait until this particular one is finished up so I can get something more tolerable with scent.
2This soap is easily twice and concentrated as Dawn Ultra
Mrs. Meyer's is pricier than normal brands, but it's totally worth it. This soap is easily twice and concentrated as Dawn Ultra, so I only need half as much for the same amount of clean. This reminds me of how Dawn used to be back in the 90's before they started watering it down. The bluebell smell is also really nice!! I've been converted, and I'm never going back. I look forward to trying other scents when this one runs out!
5Does the job.
My dishwasher broke. My busy holiday schedule has delayed getting fixed. I've been doing a lot of dishes by hand recently. I'm picky about the dish soap I use. I'm sensitive to smells because they cause migraines. This has a mild lavender smell but it's not overpowering. I haven't had a reaction to it.The soap foams well, cleans well, and rinses well. So far I'm very happy with it. I do wish Amazon didn't ship it in a massive box but that's another review.
