    I thought these would be great for storing my baked good items in an organized ... I thought these would be great for storing my baked good items in an organized fashion and/or for using for handing out leftovers after big group dinners however after one use me and my roommate found that this product is not flexible enough to even stand removing the lids. The upper ridge of the container will breakoff when you peel the lid (has happened on at least 3 pieces so far). Would not recommend. Get them from your local deli instead! 1Well made, leak free, and containers hold up well. Updated 10 months later. We are very impressed by these containers. We've used them for everything. The three sizes are perfect and one lid fits all. They microwave nice and are holding up well to washings in the dishwasher (top rack). I had soup in one the other day, dropped it, and it did not leak! We like how little room they need in the refrigerator and in the cabinet. Made in the USA and from safe materials. This set is more than enough for any size family. We highly recommend!Update: August 1, 2017We just bought a second set. I'd say 2/3 of the first set is still in perfect shape after 10 months of daily use, as far as the containers go. The lids did not hold up as well as we would have liked. I probably have 1/4 of the lids that are still in good shape, which is why we bought another set. I think in order to make this set perfect, they should include extra lids, or maybe make the lids a little more durable (if that is possible). I am lowering my review by one star because of this, but I still recommend this set. We love everything about it, except for the short lid life.Or here's another thought: perhaps they could offer just the lids for sale for those of us that need more, at a good price. I looked, but could not find just a set of lids. 4Amazing Product for Busy Families! As a busy homeschooling mom, I love to save leftovers. These containers make it easy to save small portions of whole foods that are just perfect for lunches later in the week. The smallest container feeds my 10 year old two portions or my husband one entree. The middle size feeds two to three adult portions. The largest container will feed 4-6 depending on your portion size.I freeze the containers and love how well they stack! It really allows you to use your space vertically. The containers keep my fridge and freezer much more organized. I can cook a large batch of fresh ingredients in my Instant Pot, then save whole foods for later! I make Instant Pot meals at least 2 or 3 times a week, so this is an awesome way to save the leftovers and have more variety!I take the containers out of the freezer a day in advance of when I'd like them. That allows the food to soften up so it can be removed and reheated in a microwave or stove safe dish. I do not reheat in these containers.Handwashing will keep these in good condition. I have not had any issues with lids cracking while taking them off or putting them on. The only damage we had was when my husband inadvertently put one in the dishwasher. The bottom portion cracked and the lid became misshapen. 5Potentially faulty containers Pleased with the variety of sizes and the relatively affordable price for these usually indestructible containers, but I'm displeased with the quality. I have worked in kitchens that use these containers day in and day out with basically no problems -- sometimes they'll get a little warped in the dishwasher, but nothing that can't be overcome. However, I've almost never encountered a container splitting and shattering, even with regular use.My experience with this product proved to me that these aren't as perfect as I had always thought they were. I lightly placed a number of the containers and lids in the sink to be washed, but within a few minutes when I began to wash them, I noticed there were cracks and shattered pieces of plastic from a couple of the containers. I hadn't used them yet, and also hadn't dropped, thrown, stacked, or otherwise mangled the containers before some of them were already breaking.It's only been a few days, but I'm not feeling very confident about this purchase. 3Some issues in dishwasher The lids aren't really dishwasher safe. I have had to throw out a number of lids that got warped. I freeze soups and stock with these. Occasionally i see the lid opens after frozen. This has only happened a couple times...maybe I froze something too hot. Otherwise an ok set. My recommendation would be to sell a set with 10 big ones, 5 midsize and 5 small ones. I need the big ones to store soup in fridge. Update: i am going to order another set by someone else because all the big ones have cracked or warped. 2Practical, Good Value I began a paleo diet because of some autoimmune health issues and my family and I sometimes eat different meals. I wanted to freeze some foods in portion sizes both to keep leftovers longer as well as have some quick lunches. From the reviews, I was curious about how well these containers would hold up in the dishwasher and freezer.I don t microwave my food in the containers if at all possible. I run them under hot water and pop the food into a bowl. So I can t address their condition after repeated microwaving. However, I do was them in the top rack of my dishwasher and haven t had any bad warping or melting.A few of the containers have cracked or chipped as I was trying to get the frozen food out of it. But I take partial blame because I likely just smacked it too hard on the counter when it was too cold and brittle. It s only happened with two out of the 36 pieces, so I feel like it s acceptable.The clear sides are great so I can see what s inside. The variety of sizes for me was perfect. The small one is ideal for one serving of meat or a side of vegetables. The medium size is ideal for soup or one-pot dishes. The large size is what I use for a quart of broth. I m ordering this again because it s been so useful. 5Convenient and durable. I purchased these because I grew tired of dealing with lids and containers of all different shapes and sizes in our cabinets. With these, I have one stack of lids, and a stack for each size of bowl. So much easier to deal with from an organizational standpoint.They have not warped in the dishwasher (top rack), so that makes me happy.A few have warped in the microwave, but that was because someone had the microwave on the highest setting. When I microwave food in the containers at 70% power or less, they do not warp.These containers have made it so easy to set aside individual portions of food to take to school and work. They are great if you're working on portion control, and if you like to meal prep once a week for multiple meals.I recommend them for convenience and durability, and would buy again! 4No more getting take out just to get the container!! For years I have saved the deli containers I get when we do take out since the lids are always "one size for all" ans saves the headache of tracking down the right lid for the container I grabbed. I had to let my last few give up the ghost this week and was very sad...til it dawned on me I could probably find them here on Amazon...and WOOO to the WHOOOOO...I found them and at a great price!!They are hefty and do fine when I pour something hot right into them. They stack great in the fridge/cabinets and I like that I can see what's inside thru the lid and the container.This 36 pack with three sizes is perfect for the left overs that can come with cooking for only two..but forgetting sometimes there are only two of us.We travel a lot for work and these come in so handy for everything from food goods dry and in the cooler... to laundry soap pods...to dog food.The lids fit S-N-U-G so no worries about them popping off or leaking and no matter how he tries our monster fur baby doberson...can't get the tops off the ones that hold treats and dog food in them when we travel!! 5Cracked and Chipped Upon Arrival, Poor Quality These #5 PP milky white containers arrived damaged. They are very thin and brittle and the containers from your supermarket deli are probably better quality. These are supposedly BPA-free, but there is no "BPA FREE" indication ( that Rubbermaid puts on their containers ). The edges of the rims are not finished ( small plastic artifacts hanging down from the edges ). USA Made is an appeal, but I won`t buy crap from anyone, no matter where it is made.. 1I really love these containers I really love these containers. They're so versatile. They can be used for meal preps, freezer storage, long term shelf/pantry storage, school or work lunches, snack holders; seriously, so many options. The 3 different sizes are phenomenal. I could rave all day about how great these are. But keeping me from a 5 star rating is the fact that, without fail, every time I purchase these at least 3 of them are busted upon arrival. I have purchased these 3 times in the past (cause I am a baker/cook, I use them aggressively, daily until they give up but normal use these would last years) and each time there's several cracked around the rims. There's 36 of them and I use them so often that for me it isn't really worth the time and effort it would take to return all 36 for 3 cracked rims, but it's worth giving note to the seller that it's a real problem with this product. I don't know if it's just my local shipping company or if the product itself could do with more padding in the packaging. Even though I truly love these containers, I'm disappointed to lose the 3 that are broken upon arrival. 4
