The 16-piece set includes four dinner plates, salad plates, bowls, and mugs in a cheery enamel finish. The pieces are lightweight and comfortable to handle, and the plates have a deep-dish design. The hand-applied enamel creates a splashy, marbleized effect offset by the pieces' heavy black rims. Though safe for both the dishwasher and the oven, these dishes are not designed for use in the microwave. The dinner plates measure 10-1/4 inches in diameter, and the salad plates measure 8 inches.
