The 9093REX B Tea Rex kettle has a black knob and handle, the small spheres on the handle are blue and the word Tea Rex 9093 30th anniversary is stamped on the lid of the kettle. It is a reinterpretation of the famous kettle with a bird-shaped whistle, which has become one of the iconic design objects of the 20th century, designed by Michael Graves in 1985. For the thirty years anniversary of this famous accessory, Graves redesigned the whistle transforming the little little bird in a fascinating mythological and futuristic creature at the same time: Tea Rex. The choice of the dragon is a reference of the author to Chinese culture that chooses these beings to symbolize strength and fortune.
